Description
After Katie & Giancarlo Caldesi’s trip to Sicily researching dishes for their cookery book ‘Sicily – Recipes from an Italian Island’ we are delighted to share with you a collection of uncovered forgotten recipes and some more contemporary favourites.
Get the chance to make your own arancine – stuffed and fried rice balls along with some classic of the Sicilian cuisine such as: Caponata, Slow-cooked cauliflower in red wine or spicy purple sprouting broccoli, Pasta alla norma or wild fennel and pinenuts,
Learn how to make the fabulous Farsumagru – rolled stuffed beef cooked with ragu and peas and a splendid fig and orange cake to finish your meal.At the end of the course you will sit down and enjoy all the dishes you have created, accompanied by carefully and specially selected regional wines.  It will be an unforgettable gastronomic walk through history.  We look forward to welcoming you.
